This third annual survey by the Arizona Education
Policy Initiative (AEPI), a collaboration of Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, and the
University of Arizona, asked Arizona parents their opinions about the condition of education in the state.
Parent attitudes about requiring a passing score the AIMS test in order to graduate high school has changed
course and increased significantly. The survey also showed that Hispanic parents are more likely to favor
stronger school accountability policies.
